About The Artist
Miles Basil is a queer, trans masc digital artist originally from Appalachia, currently living and working in the Bay Area.
His art focuses on the visibility and celebration of trans & queer joy, particularly in transformative fandom spaces.
He has been creating art ever since he could hold a crayon, but for the past ten years has mainly worked with digital art. He has previously created works using chalk markers, acrylic paint, sculpture, and various fiber arts.
His influences & interests include tabletop RPG’s, horror media, cozy video games, anime, and manga. His other creative pursuits include fiction writing, cosplay, and mixology.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Gender and Women’s Studies from the University of Kentucky, and this educational background greatly influences both his artistic & activist endeavors.
